Svobodna Energiya LLC, a subsidiary of Free Energy, is planning to start the construction of mini hydropower plants in Zhytomyr region in 2016
Free Energy plans to construct several mini hydropower plants in Zhytomyr city and region. During 2015, the company was actively developing several projects of the mini hydropower plant in Zhytomyr region, which lacks in electricity generating capacities. In the second half of 2016, the company will launch the construction of the first mini hydropower plant in Rudnia-Horodyshche village, Zhytomyr region.
“The construction of small hydropower plants has a number of advantages for local communities: attracting investments, additional income of local budgets, creation of new workplaces, involvement of local contractors, establishing an additional source of electric power generation”, Volodymyr Atamaniuk, Svobodna Energiya LLC CEO told about the advantages of construction of small hydropower plants.
Free Energy, being the company with European investments, focuseson the caring attitude to environment and implementation of advanced and environment-friendly technologies in the construction of small hydropower plants. It is noteworthy that the functioning of small hydropower plants purifies river waters from household wastes, mitigates freshets, and saturates water with oxygen, which facilitates the vital functions of river flora and fauna.
