On February 25, 2016, FREE ENERGY LLC became a member of a professional association Ukrhydroenergo.

The Ukrhydroenergo Association is a non-profit non-governmental organization that brings together citizensand companies whose activities are related to the hydro power industry.The Association operates on the principles of self-regulation, free will, member equality, openness and democracy. At the General Meeting, Semen Potashnyk, Ukrhydroenergo Association President, presented Free Energy to organization members and recommended to consider the matter of its joining the Association.
Before voting, Anatoliy Nikolaichuk, Chief Business Development Officerintroduced the company, its activitie and business approaches to the Association members.
“Free Energy is a Swedish-Ukrainian investment company that operates in the domain of alternative energy. Today, our operations are mainly focused on the development of small hydropowerplants projects. Since 2014, we have managed to perform a considerable scope of work. Currently, we are developing a few projects of small hydropower plants in Zhytomyr region. Our further plans encompass entering other Ukrainian regions,” Anatoliy Nikolaichuk informed.
After the company presentation, participants of the General Meeting voted for Free Energy LLC joining the Ukrhydroenergo Association.
After that, Free Energy top managers partook in the work of Association. Yurii Bondarenko, the First Vice-President of the Association, emphasized that the potential of small hydropower engineering in Ukraine in fact unused, especially compared to EU countries. The development of small hydropower engineering is one of Association’s priority objectives. It was upheld by Semen Potashnyk,Association President, who underlined that the Association ought to work together with ecology community and explicate that small hydropower engineering is safe for environment, provided that proper standards are adhered to.
