"Free Energy" LLC held public discussions of the MSPP project

In the village of Lavrivka, Kirovohrad region, public discussions were held regarding the construction project of the MHP

The community of Lavrivka agreed with the possibility of building a hydroelectric power station on the Ingul River

In the village of Lavrivka, Dolyna District, Kirovohrad Oblast, discussions were held regarding the community's approval of the construction project of a micro-hydroelectric power station on the Ingul River, near the dam, which is outside the territory of the village council.
The first deputy head of Dolyna RDA Inna Zelenokorinna, deputy of the district council Serhii Shumeyko and deputy head of the Regional Water Resources Department Kateryna Hayduk were invited to the meeting. The head of the village council Valentyna Bircha presented to local residents two enterprises that have expressed interest in the construction of the hydroelectric power station. This is the Swedish-Ukrainian company "Free Energy" LLC and FOP AndrietsIhor Olegovych.
In his speech, Igor Andriets emphasized that he is a local entrepreneur, his company is registered in the city of Kirovohrad, and he has a great desire to build a micro-hydroelectric power plant near the village of Lavrivka.
Anatoly Nikolaychuk, director of strategy and development of the FreeEnergy company, spoke about the company's experience in the development of small hydropower plants in the Zhytomyr Region and the socio-economic benefits that the local community can receive.
"During the construction of hydroelectric power plants, we always cooperate with communities and try to take into account all comments and wishes of local residents. The dam where the MHP is planned to be built is located outside the territory of the village council. But we have a lot of experience in how to legally issue this hydraulic construction on the balance sheet of the Lavriv settlement council, which will make it possible to receive additional revenues to the local budget," Anatoliy Nikolaychuk noted.
After listening to potential investors, the community of Lavrivka agreed to the possibility of building a micro-hydroelectric power station on the dam of the Ingul river, but on the terms of a competition. Enterprises must provide the village council with their vision of the micro-hydroelectric power plant construction project and what social proposals they plan to implement.
During the discussion, the representatives of the community noted that it is extremely important that the enterprise that will implement the MHP project be registered in the Dolyna district. This will make it possible to receive taxes and other financial income in the local budget.
Anatolii Nikolaychuk agreed with this, noting that this is a common practice in the construction of small hydroelectric power plants, so the FreeEnergy company plans to open a subsidiary in the Dolyna district. He also advised at the competition to study not only the projects of the hydroelectric power plant and the social packages offered by the participating companies, but also to take into account the experience, financial and organizational capabilities of potential investors
