Free Energy representatives took part in the Finnish Energy Day held in Kyiv on September 14.

The Finnish Energy Day brought together specialists from public and private enterprises working in the field of energy efficiency and green energy
The event was organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Employment and Economy of Finland, the Finnish Energy Club under the patronage of the Embassy of Finland in Ukraine. The seminar was opened by the Minister of Foreign Trade of Finland Kai Myukkanen.
Advanced technologies in the field of energy were presented at the Finnish Energy Day. Finland has been investing in renewable energy and improving energy efficiency for decades. In this area, the country has achieved widely recognized results that can benefit municipal, state, and private enterprises of Ukraine working in the field of energy efficiency and alternative energy.
In his speech, Harri Laurika, Managing Director of the Bioenergy Association of Finland, shared the Finnish experience of using renewable energy sources and biofuels in maintaining balance in energy systems. A representative of the Finnish company Wärtsilä Power Plants told how to optimize the operation of energy systems with a large share of RES.
Part of the speeches at the forum raised the topic of financing projects in the fields of energy efficiency and VDE with the help of international financial and donor organizations. Serhii Maslychenko, senior manager of the Department of Energy Efficiency and Climate Change of the EBRD, delivered a report "Financing sustainable energy in Ukraine"; Ronnie Nilson, senior advisor of the Northern Environmental Finance Corporation (NEFCO), shared his experience of investing and implementing energy efficiency and RES projects in Ukraine.
The FreeEnergy company is grateful to the initiator of the event - the Finnish Energy Club. This international organization was founded in 2010 with the aim of establishing cooperation between Finland and other countries in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
